Dental Emergencies

A comprehensive and complete initial dental exam is recommended for all new patients. During this exam, a series of baseline X-rays are taken to determine the existing oral health of the individual and plan treatment.

Dental Emergencies

Top priority is given towards treating dental emergencies. A quick clinical exam along with/without a specific Xray can help diagnose the situation and help in treatment planning. Palliative treatment is suggested immediately and a future appointment is set for completing any initiated dental treatment.

Teeth Whitening

White teeth are always quickly noticed. If you feel the need to brighten your teeth colour or to whiten them substantially, talk to one of our hygienist to obtain complete knowledge of all the existing whitening products in the dental marketplace and determine a suitable product.

Dental Fillings are the main aspect of day to day dentistry. Existing fillings may need to be replaced due to micro leakage, fracture etc. Dental Cavities will need be be replaced with restorations. A dental filling can help restore the tooth and maintain regular function over long period of time.

Bridges are recommended to replace missing tooth or teeth. Teeth on either sides of the missing area are selected as abutments for the dental prosthesis that will eventually be cemented to replace all the missing teeth.

Soft Tissue Management

Soft Tissue Management

We recommend home care and office care for all our patients. Brushing twice a day, flossing after every meal, use of mouth rinse is part of regular home care advise. Office dental cleaning is highly recommended to maintain areas that might not be accessible to routine home care techniques.

Root Canal Therapy

RCT is recommended when a tooth gets infected and may be the only option to salvage the tooth. It involves the removal of all infected material from the internal portion of the tooth and replacing it with an inert filling material. RC treatment is usually followed by a filling and/or crown.

Bridges

Dental implants

Crowns are usually recommended on teeth after root canal therapy or when the tooth has a very large existing restoration that needs fixing. Crowns procedures include reducing the tooth, mould making and a lab fabricated crown insertion as a final step.

Invisalign

Wisdom Teeth Removal

Wisdom Teeth Removal

Invisalign is a very liked treatment by a lot of patients who prefer not to have the traditional braces. This can be aesthetically desirable. A series of trays are worn in regular succession thereby moving and correcting the position of teeth to a desired result. Currently we refer this service to specialists - orthodontists.

Wisdom Teeth Removal

Wisdom Teeth Removal

Wisdom Teeth Removal

Between the ages of 17 - 21 wisdom teeth erupt into the oral cavity. These teeth if impacted or erupted in a haphazard manner can cause pain and discomfort and will need to be removed as soon as possible. Complex dental extractions are referred to specialist - oral surgeons.

Braces

Wisdom Teeth Removal

Partial Dentures

Braces are traditional mode of treating crowded, crooked or spaced teeth. Currently we do not perform orthodontic treatment, (moving teeth) at our office,  but can certainly help identify the need for such treatment and provide a referral to a local Orthodontist for opinion/consultation and further investigation and management.

Partial Dentures

Partial Dentures

Partial Dentures

Missing Teeth can be replaced by partial dentures. After making a mould of the existing tooth structure, the prosthesis is fabricated at a dental lab and is held by existing tooth structure. A partial denture has better retention due to retention via existing tooth structure.

Full Dentures

Partial Dentures

Full Dentures

Complete dentures replaced all missing teeth in the upper or lower jaw. Impression making followed by a series of trials precede the finished product being inserted into the mouth. Since retention is derived of the existing soft tissue, it may take a while to function normally.
